Kourosh Keshavarz was born in 1984 and has a master's degree in metallurgical engineering from Shiraz University. At the age of 6, he started learning Santor from Masih Afghah, one of the prominent students of Faramarz Payvar. At the same time, he became acquainted with the violin under the tutelage of his brother Kaveh Keshavarz. He also studied the basics of composition with him and then learned to play cello with Aydin Ahmadinejad in 1985. Among his artistic backgrounds are: Cellist of Tehran Symphony Orchestra, Stringed Bell Ensemble, Persian Gulf Quartet Collaboration with Iran-Austria Symphony Orchestra, Tehran Philharmonic Orchestra - Numerous studio recordings of music albums, films, and series - Various performances with orchestras, Pop and Traditional and Collaboration with the Masters of Persian Music - Composing in Numerous Albums, Singles and Short Films.
