Ramin Heydari Faroughi
Ramin H. Faroughi was born in Tehran in 1966. His father was an army officer and his mother a teacher. Owing to his father’s career, he inevitably spent his childhood years traveling, which contributed greatly to the shaping-up of his character. Now the childhood years are over, yet the peregrinations are still proceeding, but this time he is wending the way of his own volition as a documentarist, on a mission to better know various manifestations of culture and human civilization. In Iran, Faroughi is known as a documentarist who makes poetic visual travelogues.
