Masoud Boroomand
Dr. Masoud Broomand is a university professor in Gas turbine. He received his PhD in Turbomachinery from University of Cranfield, UK. He was vice president of Industrial Development and Renovations Organization of Iran (IDRO) between years 2001 to 2005. In this period, his responsibility was to foster the level of industrial investment in Hi-tech industry of Iran. In entire of his life, he was involved in pioneer projects in Oil industry, automotive industry and Aerospace engineering. He was the founder of AUTSAT Project in Amirkabir University of Technology with the objective of establishing a new model of research institution within the universities in Iran. He was nominated as the Distinguished Mechanical Engineer of year 2004 by Iranian Society of Mechanical Engineering of Iran. Currently, he is the Head of Aerospace Engineering Department of Amirkabir University of Technology.
